Small, focused apps, made in Novi Sad.

I’m Alexey Egorenko, an independent developer. I live in a city where dogs and bicycles are everywhere, so it’s no accident that my first projects are about both.

Suncokret Labs is where I build them, and where I check with real people that an idea is worth building before I build it. Suncokret means “sunflower”, the flower of the Vojvodina plains.

Projects

Cadence Coach In development

A cycling cadence coach for Android. Pick a target cadence or range and get audio guidance while you ride, without looking at the screen. Cadence is estimated from your phone’s motion sensors, so no extra hardware is required. A metronome mode plays a steady beat at your target cadence.

Cadence Coach does not assume there is one “right” cadence for everyone. It helps you practise the cadence you choose.

Dog group research Research · no product yet

I’m asking professional dog walkers and daycare managers how they put together walking and play groups, and which risks are easy to miss before heading out. I’m exploring a simple tool that highlights what deserves a second look, without making decisions for you and without any “safety score”.

There is nothing to buy or sign up for. Right now I’m only listening and learning.

How I build

Ask first. I talk to the people who would use an app before writing it.
Honest numbers. When an app isn’t confident in a result, it says “unknown” rather than guessing, and every warning can be explained.
No ads. Your data stays yours. Cadence Coach works offline and keeps your rides on your device. Any future app will say clearly what it stores, and where, before you use it.

Received my survey? It is for research only. Answers are not sold or shared, your email is optional, and you don’t need to include client data or real dog names. Questions are welcome at alexey@suncokretlabs.com.
